Traditional blessing 

ברוך אתה אדני אלהינו מלך העולם אשר קדשנו במצותיו וצונו להדליק נר של שבת

Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, asher kidd’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu l’hadlik ner shel Shabbat.

Blessed are You Adonai, our God King of the universe, who sanctified us with the commandment of lighting Shabbat candles.

Messianic blessing 

ברוך אתה יהוה אלהינו מלך העולם אשר קדשנו בדברן ונתן לנו את ישוע משיחנווצונו להיות אור לעולם

Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, asher kidd’shanu bidvaro v’natan lanu et Yeshua M’shichenu v’tzivanu lih-yot or l’olam.

Blessed are You Adonai, our God King of the universe, who sanctified us through His Word and has given us Yeshua our Messiah, and commanded us to be light to the world.

Blessing over the wine

ברוך אתה אדני אלהינו מלך העו בורא פרי הגפן

Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, boreh p’ri hagafen.

Blessed are You Adonai, our God King of the universe, who creates the fruit of the vine.

Blessing over the bread

ברוך אתה אדני אלהינו מלך העולם המוציא לחם מן הארץ

Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, hamotzi lechem min ha'aretz

Blessed are You Adonai, our God King of the universe, who brings forth bread from the earth.
